Are Sampletank Sonik Synth and Independence Basic Compatible VSTS in Samplitude Music Studio 2013

I have a have a folder that I always put my VST instruments and Plugins into, so that I can keep track of them. When  I installed Magix Samplitude Music Studio 2013 instructed it to use this folder also, so that it could theoretically use all the plugins I already have, as well as it's own internal ones..
But for some reason,  Music Studio 2013 can't see my Sampletank or Sonik Synth plugins??
Anyone got any idea why?.
I do have another program that CAN see and access these plugins, in the folder that they are in, so I know they are working..
Also if Music studio itself can't see the plugins. Can I see them using Independence Basic?
There is something  in the Independence manual about how you can do this. It says you have to copy the vsts to a root folder somewhere..But I don't really know where Magix has put this. Has anybody managed to do this??

Managed to answer my own question... The reason I was having problems, was that I hadn't ran Samplitude Music Stuidio 2013 as an administrator (Windows Vista) I did this with Sampletank and Sonik Synth also. Now Samplitude can see them both, so I never bothered trying to make them run from within Independence but if you want to apparently you can run plugins from within Independence by doing this.. Magix support provided the rest of the information.
In order to use external VST plug-ins from within Independence, you would need to manually copy the plug-in DLLs into the "VST Plug-Ins" sub directory of the Independence program data directory. When you start the plug-in, it will scan for the VST plug-ins that are available and you can access them from the layer drop-down menu where you would usually configure the sound/patch to be played by Independence. You will find a "VST Instruments" sub menu in there.
