Anyone know just exactly what starup entry TrayServer.exe is for

This startup program installed with Magix on DVD 7 (Resue Video Tapes).
I'm going to disable it unless that causes some problem or it someone can
give me a good reason to let it run... I googled it but it's clear as mud to me just what the thing is for ...

Hi,

That file is part of the whole video recorder functionality that comes as part of Movies on DVD 7 (kind of an external program really). It runs as a background task cause I believe it's involved in things like timed TV recordings etc. If you're not using that part of the package, I guess you won't really need it. It's not relevant to the video editing in the main program.
