@Eric-johnston You can open up the driver configuration panel by clicking on the "Advanced" button in the Audio Device settings and then clicking on "Configure"

The device shows up as a codec and real cryptic settings. the Alesis mixer does not show up as track 1, or track 2 as most interfaces might show. i'm not sure the ASIO4ALL is worth anything, doesn't seem to work. at all.

thanks though.

@Eric-johnston Maybe try a different ASIO driver. You can download the free demo version of FL Studio which also includes the FL Studio ASIO driver. Just install the demo and select the driver in ACID audio device settings and click on "Apply"

tried it. it still says usb codec 1, codec 2 and lists about 6 output channels i don't need. configured the two codecs to see if they would do anything and they both record from the same channel on the mixer. can't multitrack. Has Magix Acid Pro lost its edge? I've used it for 15 years and it has always been easy. never been this complicated. thanks again. Any other ideas? really appreciate it.
