Adding music from my own library

Every time I try to add a song from my iTunes Library on my hard drive, the program freezes up. I'm trying to just drag and drop. Can someone please help me??? I'm so frustrated.

Recently, it's been said that iTunes tracks are in a format that is not supported by MAGIX products. You need to look at that. You may need to convert them to a compatible format.
