Thanks to John Baker for his help, but I still have the same problem.

Recap- Having had a repair job (new hard drive) on my computer, I can load stills onto the story board but on trying to load a movie clip the "ACTIVATION" panel appears, suggesting that I activate,offering several options,

ie, on line, by telephone etc at a cost of $4.99.!
