trying to download a video clip and it tells me I need an activation code. Spent 4.99 to get the code and it doesn't work?

We need more information:
Computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial if you are not familiar with MediaInfo on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip to get the full data that you can post directly into a comment.
What is the codec you are trying to activate and was there any error dialog that popped up when trying to activate the codec if so what was the message?
Are you entering the full activation code using copy and paste or manually?
