Activate WILL NOT DO SO !

I own and paid for this rubbish. Every time I try to Activate my new & old media/ Big Brother says No.

This serial Blah Blah Blas to another email .Contact Magix Support

(Magix should change its name to Andrex ( makers of loo paper)

I own the other email and own the old PC ,

Offensive phrase removed by Moderator .

I really do not how , or what to do. I have tried deactivate the old PC , No Good. tried finding the old email , which is the same .but I have changed my ISP , naughty boy !

So Support is actually owners offering Free Support , as they have been stuffed too.

How long before I claim my UK pound back for this ?

Any way ANy Help or advice to activate my media WOULD be Super Fine.

Hi Paul and welcome to the user to user forums.

If you click the blue support button at the top of the page in blue capitol letters do you get to see an 'Ask Support' button on the bottom right of that page? If so you can contact Magix staff there and if you give them your full details (old ISP provider etc and activation problem) they can and probably will help you sort it out.

If you do not see that support box please try using the infoservice@magix.net email address as that could be the second route if you don't see the first solution.

Also please amend your post to be less offensive using derogatory racial terms as this would go against the terms and conditions of posting here and may get you banned from posting or if you are lucky, a warning.

This problem is only something Magix themselves can sort out but it was not them or other companies that started this problem. It was the public using pirated copies. I know it is upsetting to lose access to something you have legitimately paid for but it can and should be sorted for you.

Please post back if you cannot at least reach magix via the two solutions I have given.

I have edited your post to remove the racially offensive sentence. Please do not create posts here that use any sort of offensive language.

Assuming the problem you have is the fact that your old, registered email address no longer exists, do the following:

Go to your Magix account page, log in with your old email. Hopefully, you can remember your password. If not, see below.
Go to User data and amend your registered email address.
Whilst there, go to My products and deactivate any registered installation of VPX you no longer need.
Allow a few minutes for the changed data to propagate through the Magix servers and then try again to activate the new installation.

If you cannot remember your old password you will need to follow Ray's advice and email infoservice@magix.net, giving them as much detail as you can and ask that they amend your customer account so that your new email address is the one that is registered to you.

I shall attempt to follow and rectify , though I am Very Sure the email I use is the same one , apart from using another UK rip of company to a cheaper one.

Still fail to grasp that I can use the old PC with an earlier edition with allow my older media to edit , though using New media and new Pc , the Portcullis is down the joys !

Also Quick to accept UK sterling but I shall to contact the infoservice dept .

The time just keeps melting away . As you may have picked up I am not Chuffed at all, shame no where to review this product . To flag to others Buyer Beware in English Law.

New message , New VERSION download , 1GB , so like a fool that I am . Using all my old registered details downloaded and allowed the system on pc to be told what to do ,

GUESS WHAT , not ONLE could I not activate the new old media , I NOW CAN NOT OPEN the Frigging

programme, SHOW the same Error message . Registered elsewhere.

WOW THIS IS MAGIX yes sit right and watch my life pass me by using nothing Crap , its Magic but not as You know it

I do hope the Mods enjoy using their as I can't use my as it not even listed on my short cuts

Any one know if can have my cash returned and to Adobe , this really is Rubbish 100%

& I am keeping Clean using the English that is understood everywhere .....

If you have changed you ISP or email provider and do not have an Internet Domain name registered and using this for your email address, then your email addresses will not be the same, you may have the same name however the section of the address after the @ will be different.

In which case you need to follow the advice @CubeAce gave you and contact Magix.

Please note that while we appreciate the problems you are having can be stressful, ranting, sarcasm and derogatory remarks are not appreciated and will deter other users from helping you with an issue.
