Samplitude has a note on MP3 files on the specification. Wonder if this may well applies to ACID too?

** MP3 export with Windows Media Player 10 or higherNote: Only non copy-protected audio CDs can be imported.

I've never had this problem before, only facing this in the beta version. Pretty annoying.

Thanks

@talalqureshi The beta version, and current public release both are able to read MP3 files perfectly fine. Are you running AP as a different user, e.g. admin? - you will find you cannot drag files to applications running under a different user context. Open them from with AP.

If this is a problem you are experiencing with the beta then please discuss this in the dedicated beta forum, and provide steps to reproduce the bug.

If you are unable to work because of a bug in the beta version stop using it and revert to the public version. Beta versions are never meant for production installs as they are unfinished, and potentially buggy.
