(Version 11)

Long time Sound Forge and Acid user, back as far as 01' when Acid 2.0 was around. Bought both Acid 13 and SF. When I try to open a .wav file, whether it be 8 seconds or 1.5 minutes, I always get the error message: "An error occurred during the current operation. An Exception has occurred." If I click "ok" then the program closes. I can not use Acid. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? My computer is running Windows 10 64bit, it has an Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5-2665 O @ 2.40GHz processor with 8GB installed RAM and lots of hard drive space. If anyone has any idea what could be the problem I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
