Apollonia nasce come «musica a programma» che è un tipo di composizione musicale che consiste nel descrivere o nel narrare una storia con mezzi puramente musicali. In un pianeta quasi interamente inquinato c’è un’oasi felice che è Apollonia. I «cattivi» vanno alla ricerca del luogo verde e quando lo trovano…bruciano tutto (altrimenti non sarebbero stati cattivi). Qualche semenza si salva ed un vecchio saggio rimprovera i cattivi che si convertono alla bontà e con le semenze tratte in salvo si «ricostruisce» Apollonia. per evitare futuri colpi di testa da parte di qualcun altro viene eletto un super guardiano denominato Re Giaguaro. Bene, sicuramente la storia potrebbe essere degna della Walt Disney. Ma cari amici, concentratevi sull’ascolto della musica, perché al di là del programma, tutto è fatto con tanta attenzione. Apollonia was born as "program music" which is a type of musical composition which consists in describing or narrating a story with purely musical means. On an almost entirely polluted planet, there is a happy oasis that is Apollonia. The "bad guys" go in search of the green place and when they find it ... they burn everything (otherwise they wouldn't have been bad guys). Some seeds are saved and an old sage reproaches the wicked who are converted to goodness and with the seeds saved, Apollonia is "rebuilt". To avoid future head shots from someone else, a super guardian called the Jaguar King is elected. Well, surely the story could be worthy of Walt Disney. But dear friends, concentrate on listening to music, because beyond the program, everything is done with a lot of attention.
