This Fantasy opera was staged in the spring of this year. The lyrics are by Sandro Glavina, the music is by Franco Galateo. The work is interpreted by the Collective of Officina Sperimentale Arte Musica(OSAM) with singing and acting by Adrian G. Salvon, Vanna Dal Griso, Giordan Vlansa, Aldo V. Garsinna.
L’opera fantasy in questione è stata allestita nella primavera di questo anno. I testi sono di Sandro Glavina, le musiche sono di Franco Galateo. Ad interpretare l’opera è il Collettivo dell’Officina Sperimentale Arte Musica (OSAM) con canto e recitazione di Adrian G. Salvon, Vanna Dal Griso, Giordan Vlansa, Aldo V. Garsinna.
Destination Country 494 is an experimental secret scientific area where people of various ages are sent who have lost their minds for various reasons.
The subjects are subjected to cycles of radiant treatments with a light source called "Bright Power" (light power) obtained from minerals extracted from meteorites that have fallen on the planet.
The discovery of the effects of "Bright Power" was accidental, because it was noted, with the involuntary exposure to the meteorites radiation, the normalization of the behavior of some laboratory animals previously rendered demented.
Experimental treatments on the subjects seem to be successful as most of them recover their reason.
But people who are successfully tested cannot then return to their normal life because they may reveal the secret of their healing. The energy source is limited and business is already being thought about: allocating the benefits of “Bright Power” only to the rich and powerful.
The healed people remain prisoners. They can move freely with many comforts within an equipped zone of area 494 from which they cannot leave because they are led to believe that side effects have occurred with the treatments, which the Foundation hopes to resolve in the future. Going out into the sunlight now can result in their death within minutes.
Time passes, people always remain prisoners in comfortable conditions (good food, excellent accommodation, swimming pool, many other comforts…) Sunlight is replaced by artificial light. A community is created, relationships are developed, one almost forgets that there is a social life outside the area.
In the meantime, the hoped-for business is not successful. The few insane rich people in the world, subjected in secrecy to the radiation treatment, temporarily recover the sense of reason, but returning to the outside world, for causes unknown to science, they fall back into dementia quickly and in an even more serious
Destination Country 494 è un’area scientifica segreta sperimentale in cui vengono inviate persone di svariate età che per diverse cause hanno perduto il senno.
I soggetti vengono sottoposti a cicli di trattamenti radianti con una fonte luminosa denominata “Bright Power” (potenza luminosa) ricavata da minerali estratti da meteoriti cadute sul pianeta.
La scoperta degli effetti di “Bright Power” è stata casuale, perché si era notata, con l’involontaria esposizione alle radiazione del meteorite, la normalizzazione del comportamento di alcuni animali di laboratorio resi precedentemente dementi. I trattamenti sperimentali sui soggetti sembrano aver successo in quanto la maggior parte di loro recuperano la ragione.
Ma le persone su cui viene condotta la sperimentazione con successo non possono poi tornare alla loro vita di sempre perché potrebbero rivelare il segreto della loro guarigione. La fonte energetica è limitata e si pensa già al business: destinare i benefici di “Bright Power” solo ai ricchi e ai potenti.
Le persone guarite rimangono prigioniere. Possono liberamente muoversi con molti comfort all’interno di una zona attrezzata dell’area 494 da cui non possono andarsene perché gli viene fatto credere che con i trattamenti sono intervenuti degli effetti collaterali che però si spera di risolvere in futuro. Uscire ora alla luce del sole, in ambiente esterno, provocherebbe la loro morte in pochi minuti.
Passa il tempo, le persone rimangono sempre prigioniere in condizioni agiate (buon cibo, ottimi alloggi, piscina, molti altri comfort…) La luce solare è sostituita da una luce artificiale. Si crea una comunità, si sviluppano relazioni, quasi ci si dimentica che esiste una società esterna all’area.
Nel frattempo il business sperato non ha buon esito. I dissennati ricchi del mondo, sottoposti in tutta segretezza al trattamento radiante, recuperano temporaneamente il senso della ragione, ma ritornando nel mondo esterno, per cause ignote alla scienza, ricadono nella demenza in tempi rapidi e in forma ancora più grave.
