Systematic export mistake after installing a codec...

ALeGour Posté à 29/11/2021 13:35

Hi,

In one of my projects, I was trying to use a video coming from an iphone thrue a DJI OM stabilisator .

MAGIX Video Deluxe Pro told me bo buy a specific codec... I did it.

I'm now unable to export a video in MP4 format --> systematic error message speaking about importance to delete a problematic Codec but I'm not able to find where is the list of existing Codecs. Exportation works if choosing Windows media exporting format

I was trying to uninstall software and re-installing but no change.

Thanks by advance for your help.

Regard, Arnaud

Hi,

Could you analyze your video source file using MediaInfo and then send us the read information?

You can write in French on this forum.

All the best.

Hi DéDé,

Last update of Magix 2022 solved the problem I was speaking about, now exporting fine ;-)

But if you know the way to solve another annoying issue I'm having it could be great :

Program is regulary freezing when I'm doint basic things like moving / resizing / changing speed of an object (or simply scrolling to see following elements of a project). It's like if Magix is lost when recalculating all contents of screen. After a while (it can be 15-30 seconds), I can restart working wiht a normal aspect of mouse cursor), using Alt-Tab a few times seems to be an accelerator of this issue.

I'm a bit perplex because on my previous machine it was the same and on the new one (Intel i9 / 32Gb RAM / NVidia RTX3080 / 16Gb / 2Tb SSD) this issue is still appearing.

Is there a way to ask Magix to display less quality of items on screen or is it possible to tell this program that there is no need to permanently recalculate all content of project ?

At this time I'm working on a project with only 5-7 tracks and a global duration of 20 minuts.

Something more, I'm using a secondary screen which is à large LG display of 34'' to facilitate working on projects.

Thanks by advance for your help if you've already eard about this kind of freezing display troubles.

All the best,

Arnaud

Hi Arnaud,

If you edit UHD / 4K videos files, and on a large number of tracks, use proxies.

All the best.
