Hi Folks:

The song is a classic in every sense of the word. Many believe it to be the second most recorded song in modern history.

"Garota de Ipanema" ("The Girl from Ipanema") is a well-known Brazilian Bossa Nova song, a worldwide hit in the mid-1960's that won a Grammy for Record of the Year in 1965. It was written in 1962, with music by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Portuguese lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes. The English lyrics were written later by Norman Gimbel.

This remake marks the second collaborative effort by the wonderful Italian singer, Pino D"Isola and instrumentally arranged by me.

"Garota de Ipanema" ("The Girl from Ipanema") è una famosa canzone di Bossa Nova brasiliana, un successo mondiale nel mid-1960 che ha vinto un Grammy per il disco dell'anno nel 1965. Fu scritta nel 1962, con musiche di Antônio Carlos Jobim e portoghese testi di Vinicius de Moraes. Inglese testi sono stati scritti più tardi di Norman Gimbel.

Questo remake segna la seconda collaborazione la meravigliosa cantante italiana, Pino D "Isola e strumentalmente organizzati da me.

"Garota de Ipanema" ("The Girl from Ipanema") ist ein bekannter brasilianischer Bossa Nova Lied, einen weltweiten Hit in der Mitte der 1960er, die gewann einen Grammy für Aufzeichnung des Jahres 1965. Es wurde 1962 mit der Musik von Antônio Carlos Jobim und Portugiesisch Songtext von Vinícius de Moraes geschrieben. Die englischen Texte wurden später von Norman Gimbel geschrieben.

Dieses Remake markiert die zweite gemeinsame Anstrengung von der wunderbaren italienischen Sänger, Pino D "Isola und instrumentell angeordnet nach mir.

Hi Griff, hi Pino!

Yes, it's a classical song but well instrumented and sung! Specially the piano part is well done. Also the vocals of Pino.

My only critics is the end of this fine song - bossa-nova needs a "bang-bang" at the end
