The standalone version can be used when you don't want to run this instrument in music software, for example for live shows. Please check the Instruments tab in Music Maker if the VST version is visible there. If not, please open the Music Maker program settings, go to the Folders tab, open the VST paths settings and scan the VST paths again. You should then be able to see and use the instrument.
