First I have to apologize. To whom? I'm actually not sure... Quite some time ago I downloaded a great instrumental from Looperman which I intended to use as basis for a Hip Hop track.

I guess I am old now, as I forgot to write down where I got it from and hence I cannot post it into the relevant uploading section at Looperman...I am sorry.

I named the track "ft Vocaroo" as the file is named like this. Actually the correct name is "Vocaroo_s05MJOh63OMZ.MP3" and if anybody knows the exact source for whatever reason then I would be very happy to get this information. To thank the person who uploaded it.

Okay, down to this track.

It is a nearly pure sample track. No, no...it is. Back to the roots, so to speak.

I know it is not the real thing but the trick for me was to figure the correct MAGIX vocals plus samples to fit this one.

I only used one Midi, and that is a simple two tone bass line. Yeah....that's it about my own work in this.

Not really, as I did a lot of cutting, speed and pitch adjustments, making things sound good to my ears.

So - cut the long story short - I hope you enjoy this Hip Hop track. Midi or not. Samples or not. We are here to enjoy music, and this is what I tried to bring in here.

I love the flow of that instrumental. And I had to use it.
