Update_21.0.2.138 a really bad update

Since the last update 21.0.2.138, MEP crash in every project I'm working on it just stop working and restart by itself or corrupt the file and I have to load the _Old.mvp it generates, now I have to reinstall the program to get rid of the bad update lucky me that I didn't install the extra content because it's really a pain in the neck to reinstall the program in full.

Hi.

Whenever a new patch is released there is always a page where you can leave your experience of how the update helped or caused problems with your computer setup that the magix staff would at least read and make a note of. When the program first crashed it may have corrupted the program and/or the project settings.

Reset the program to its default settings - File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.
The project files that were loaded after the initial crash may also be corrupted - use File, Load backup project to search for a good backup of the project - note: work backwards by date as shown below

If a project will load however crashes when playing the preview or you add media - then use File, Manage project, Export movie file, Magix movie file (*.mvd) and save with a new name.

Then start a new project and import the MVD file - File, Manage project, Import movie file, Magix movie file (*.mvd) - then immediately save the project with a new name.

When you updated the program did you check the update did not change any of your program settings which can sometimes happen? Specifically in the device section that Import / Processing / Export are all set to the nvidia card.

Also check under Windows Settings / System / Graphics / that the Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is on and that 'Choose an app to set preference' [Desktop app] / browse / local disc C: / Program files / Magix / Movie Edit Pro Premium / 2022 / videodeluxe.exe : is set to High performance GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.

That will force the system to use the more powerful GPU for the programs processing.

Thanks for the help but I just uninstalled the program with the update 21.0.2.138 of the seven update this one was the worst, now with clean version going to see how it goes so far so good, no more update for me.
