I can't stream Music Maker itself ?

Ward-Ron schrieb am 27.08.2022 um 13:15 Uhr

I'm trying to stream to Discord, how I make music using Magic Music Maker, but nothing works, Nobody can hear anything and under the one setting that they can (WASPI Driver -> None), it sounds extremely glitchy (to me and the people listening/watching).

How do I make it so that people can hear my Stream of Music Maker AND not have it sound like I'm pressing Pause/Play every second ?

@Ward-Ron Your audio driver needs to support this. Are you using the newest version of Music Maker with the new Music Maker ASIO driver? Does it run in exclusive mode or in non-exclusive mode?

Your audio device needs also to be fast enough to not glitch out. If you use a the Realtek Audio chipset on your mainboard you probably need to increase the audio buffer to 2048 samples.

Is it possible for you to screenshot this stuff for me please ? I didn't understand any of that

@Ward-Ron I don't have any access to my computer for a while.

Basically, you click on the gear icon in the top left corner or go to File > Settings > Program settings. Inside the program settings you go to the Audio/MIDI tab. Then you switch to an ASIO driver, it should be Music Maker ASIO on the newest version. If you then click on the Advanced-button you open the driver settings. I think you can enable non-exclusive mode there and also change the buffer size. If non-exclusive mode is enabled your sound device can be used by Music Maker and your streaming app at the same time.

When I click on Advanced, that's not what I get. Is that a premium feature ?

Also, how do I get that Driver ? The only Options I get for AISO are "None" which then defaults to Direct sound with glitchy output

SP. schrieb am 28.08.2022 um 12:15 Uhr

@Ward-Ron No, this ASIO driver included with every install of Music Maker. If it's missing you need to reinstall the program. Something went wrong during installation.

Alternatively you can download and install the free demo version of FL Studio which also comes with the FL Studio ASIO driver. You can then select this driver inside Music Maker. This driver has a different Advanced settings menu but always runs in non-exclusive mode.

Ward-Ron schrieb am 28.08.2022 um 12:45 Uhr

Is this it ?

It's the only one that displays and it's the Default one

SP. schrieb am 28.08.2022 um 13:37 Uhr

@Ward-Ron You need to install the newest version of Music Maker (Just download and install the free version 2023 from Magix.com, all your features will be transferred as soon as you log in) or use the FL Studio ASIO driver. Magix Low Latency will only work in exclusive mode. No other application will then be able to access your audio device.

Ward-Ron schrieb am 28.08.2022 um 13:56 Uhr

Do I need to click the "Install additional MAGIX software" thing or does the ASIO driver come without that ?

Edit: Never mind, Figured out it's only an Update Notifier

Okay, now that Audio is working, what do I do about this weird video ?

@Ward-Ron

Hi

Are you running Music maker on a laptop?

PC (Tower Computer)

This is what it looks like on my screen btw (That image above was in the video thing that tells me I'm streaming)

SP. schrieb am 28.08.2022 um 21:40 Uhr

@Ward-Ron This could be a graphics driver problem. Is your monitor connected to your graphics card or to your mainboards video output.

Ward-Ron schrieb am 29.08.2022 um 02:08 Uhr

How do I check ?

Ward-Ron schrieb am 29.08.2022 um 15:42 Uhr

@Ward-Ron https://pcguide101.com/motherboard/should-you-connect-monitor-to-gpu-or-motherboard/

From what I could understand from that, my PC does not have the ports located in the screenshot that it says to plug stuff into. And that's even if I'm reading it correctly, I have no idea what any of it is saying....

I'm also not sure how this affects other people's viewing experience in a stream, when all that article talks about is my own PC's display output to my own monitor, and not why the stream output is a mess, but my own screen isn't

SP. schrieb am 29.08.2022 um 15:53 Uhr

@Ward-Ron Then you probably don't have a dedicated graphics card in your computer but use the integrated Intel or AMD graphics processor inside your CPU. It seems like there is some conflict or incompatibility with your streaming software and Music Maker. Have you checked the display settings of your streaming software? Are you using OBS?

Ward-Ron schrieb am 29.08.2022 um 16:04 Uhr

No, I don't know, how do I find out ?

SP. schrieb am 29.08.2022 um 16:11 Uhr

@Ward-Ron If you don't know what streaming software you use, you probably just use the standard discord screen sharing? I have no experience with that. Maybe this will help.

It worked !!! Turns out there's settings in a tab that I didn't know about and it was "Use experimental features" that was causing issues. Thank you !!!
