Yesterday, I upgraded my Movie Edit Pro premium on Windows 7 Pro - 64bit computer. After installation, when I clicked to start the program, it did not start and gave following message:

The Procedure Entry Point Createdxgifactory2 could not Be Located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll.

Info about my computer- Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10 GHz; RAM: 8GB; Display Adapter Intel HD Graphics.

Before upgrading, s/w was running well. Now, I am unable to use the program. Help please...!!!

This has been seen here before by other users running Windows 7.

The Microsoft user forum has multiple questions on this subject and appears to be a Windows problem mainly concerned with people running older versions of Windows running newer applications.

Here is a Microsoft explanation.

Hi

. . . . I upgraded my Movie Edit Pro premium on Windows 7 Pro . . . .

Assuming you mean Movie Edit Pro 2022, then the error you are getting is a Direct X issue, the program needs a minimum of Direct X 11.1, the integrated HD 2000 gpu does not support this - it can only support up to Direct X 10.1.

The computer is well below the minimum specification to run MEP 2022, and this may also account for the previous problems you have had.
