In order to avoid the problem of icons and buttons drastically getting smaller if using the software on 4k screens, please apply the following steps:
- Right-click on the program icon.
- Select "Properties" from the context menu.
- Click on "Compatibility" tab.
- Click on "Change high DPI settings".
- Check the box "Overwrite behaviour at high DPI scaling" and select your program under "Scaling is performed by"-->"System".
