  @Forever-Season Interesting. Maybe Acid/Sound Forge installed also the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver. This is an older version of ASIO4ALL and this old version can have problems with newer computers. If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency you

  @david-lefkowitz Your problem might also be caused by an incompatibility between your system and the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver. If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency you can press the Windows key + R on your computer keyboard, and type

  @JULIAN-FLETCHER Try holding CTRL and SHIFT and double clicking on the program icon to start Sound Forge. Keep holding CTRL and SHIFT until a small window appears that will ask you if you want to reset the program settings. Maybe it will work

  @Joey-C Static problems can be caused by incompatibility of the Magix Low Latency driver and your hardware. Since Magix Low Latency is based on ASIO4ALL, it's possible that ASIO4ALL will also cause these problems. Then uninstalling Magix Low Latency
