Dear Mike, All I can say is WOW!!! WHOA!!! You did a brilliant job making this song unpredictable jazz and yet it flows beautifully, Brother!!! It is very kind and generous of you to collaborate to "You Ask Me Why," my good friend! Kind of reminds me just a bit of Pat Metheny, but I have always loved the experimental nature of your music, Mike, and isn't that what the best music does otherwise it would be predictable and unoriginal?! Quite a complex song, Mike turned this into, but with style, grace and taste and getting all those elements together plus innovative is hard to do, but Mike David of musicMD pulled it off with grace and ease!!! And just the same you can hear Mike didn't do this in just a few hours! My hat is permanently off to Mike David's musical talent, and I love all the liberties you took with You Ask Me Why! Real musical chemistry between us and very inspired and passionate, Mike!!! And a lot of instruments used without the piece ever sounding overproduced or cluttered with great flow throughout the song!!! Man, funnily enough my girl & I had a falling out so haven't spoke for a week lol (not lol) Supa dope cool vibes on the track. Clay & MD shit that couldn't fail. Everything sounds sooo sweet, the synth is particulary cool. Of course the lyrics are awesome in style & delivery. Love the guitar & piano. You guys rock all the way to the T.O.P
