Ok Everyone....

This is something completely different for me.  This is as far away from Jazz as you can possibly get...well maybe not quite as far away..."Heavy Metal" would be it for me.  But this is not my norm.  Welcome 2 My World is a experimental song I created many moons ago when I was infatuated with Paul Hardcastle.  (I still love his music by the way.)  He was my inspiration at the beginning of my music journey before Jazz became the driving force of it.  I'm not quite sure which genre to place this in...maybe Ambient, Electronic or Dance.  But this is an uptempo catchy song of mine.  It was created and mixed completely on keyboard and mastered in Magix.  So I hope you enjoy this "experimental" piece of mine and "Welcome 2 My World."

Hi Brenda:

Just got in from my gig...  It's 90% plus in NYC.  This pre-summer heat has my town in a hot-as-hell devil's grip!

All that being said, falling into your change-of-pace composition, has allowed me to absorbed a different musical vibe from you.  Yes, it's not your 'usual' styling, but shows your ability to stretch out and spread your artistry in a way that displays your unique ability to venture outside of your 'expected' realm.

Not going to get too musically 'technical' here.  My bottom line?  A real sweet listen, my talented friend!

Always keep 'em guessing...

Hey Brenda

Really nice little tune. Great beat to dance to or whatever is your "thang".   As I was listening and straining to hear something, anything to sayas a suggestion.....the only thing I was able to come up  with is that the volume of the melody could have been a tad louder.  That's it.  Otherwise it sounds real good to my ears.

It's nice to try new things and this particular one worked out well.

I would say it's Ambient with various influences from Dance and Pop. But at the end, it doesn't matter! ... you've done a great job and this track sounds exciting!

dear Brenda do not think this track can be defined as dance, but the quality of the sounds and the instrumental ensemble is really top notch.

I´ve to admit, I like your Jazz-Songs more. But nevertheless this song is well composed and transports a relaxed feeling like your other songs do.

Nice job, Brenda ..

The drums seem to be a bit funky and I like that!

Good work.

Hi Brenda,

this typical Paul Hardcastle feeling is unmistakable audible.
I think that is the basic theme of the track VIETNAM?
I can be wrong but.
I like your interpretation very good!

Big Points and greeting Freddy
