Hello Community Fans.  It's time for my next song upload.  "This Side of Heaven" is a moderate tempo contemporary jazz instrumental piece with of course...keyboard piano lead.  This is one of my favorites in my stash and I'm happy to be able to share it with all of you.

Enjoy!!

Hi alan here.

after hearing this track twice i thought it was very cool.

Just one thing i noticed the beat is OUT of SYNC.?

Or your using an fx that has caused it to go off beat.

either way i find this track HEAVENLY.

great sound quality and i really like that you know about good sound and quailty.

all round 4

frrom alan.

PEACE.!

What happens when life breaks down?

When there is systemic contradiction?
My name symbolized all that was corrupt to society.
His name symbolized all that was pure.

And I was being hailed in the embrace of the man who was pure.

And these inviolable sanctities were preserved in those ten words.

And it is the de-sacralization of all of these that has put us in the mess that we find ourselves.

Isn't it true, alas it is much worse.

A person may end up believing in anything.

You know, if that human acceptance does so much for you and me.

Think of what it is when God himself puts his arms around you and says

"Welcome home".

What love is this?

It is God's love.

And no other love can be defined until that love has properly been understood.

If you can’t make the trip to my studio yourself, don’t worry I now have my brand new Online Mastering Service. Many of my customers are happy to leave me to it, and my wide-ranging experience ensures that you can trust me to make sound judgements on your behalf – no pun intended!

The services on offer include both attended and unattended (online) mastering, vinyl cutting, re-mastering, editing and restoration. For further details please message me here.

A gorgeous room full of lots of lovely equipment isn’t going to cut the mustard unless it’s in the hands of an experienced creative engineer who understands your music and how to get the results you’re looking for.

I personally have been mastering for over 14 years now.
i have remixed and engineered for alice deejay.

Please note home mastering and studio mastering are not the same. This is a misconception. the process is different, and while the sound of the polished track may seem the same to the NAKED EAR so to speak actually sound different to the trained ear.

THE TRACKS I WILL BE UPLOADING WILL BE ONLY "HOME" MASTERING. (fast process). music maker defaults are ok but not polished.

most people are not concerned about the mastering there more comcerned about the FEEL.

i do not work for free so please do not sent me tracks to be mastered (for free). my time is not cheap.

there are some rules that are just plain idiotic. What are some examples of this behavior, why do people do it? Is it because (This is my assumption) they are afraid of the unknown? They are afraid of taking risk? Or is something that happens during the "nurturing" phase of life with overprotective parents. Maybe it's even a genetic thing.

IF I DO NOT LIKE THE MUSIC I WILL "NOT"  WORK WITH IT.

I ONLY EVER WORK WITH MUSIC I PERSONALLY ENJOY.
THIS WAY MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH CAN BE MET TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Hi Brenda:

It's very early in the morning here, and this song is like a delicious cup of hot coffee.  Your Gospel roots are on ample display with your glorious chords.

Maybe I'm a bit askew at this hour, but from my perspective, the drum accompaniment is in 'time' with the flow of the song.  I'm snapping my fingers along with the drums' rhythm (I believe I have a pretty decent sense of timing).  From my listening standpoint,  nothing appears "out of synch".

Love this presentation...

Hi Brenda

It's barely afternoon here so I've had numerous cups of coffee. Great tune, great chords!  I'm wondering if it's the syncopation that is being mistakenly considered "out of sync"?  I guess I play "out of sync" a lot myself because I find it more interesting and enjoyable to play on the "and" of the beat rather than right ON the beat, ya know what I'm sayin'?

Anyway, I like this  a lot and the synco is what gives a jazz piece its jazz vibe. But what do I know?

Merry Christmas to you and your family

Hi! gospelbj1. Dein Einstand, um den Himmel zu beschreiben, könnte vielfältig sein. Das werden wir alle noch früh genug mitbekommen, wie es dort sein mag ... ohne Wiederkehr, um zu berichten ... so sieht's aus ... gerne gehört

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU - CIAO DA SANDRO

Last changed by Sandro_Glavina_Channel on 12/24/2014, 4:56 PM, changed a total of 1 times.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
