"The magic of the past doesn't last. What we want to see is the magic of the present." Those words recorded by a theatre troup back in 1961 as part of a promotional campaign for Cheverolet Motors still ring true today. And this may sound strange from someone who enjoys the vintage dialog of old radio shows, but I do embace change.
My guitar solo doesn't start until far into the song. So be patient my friends. Is there a genre called Emo Tech?

Very very good electro modulation in fantastic atmosphere !!!! ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

But the magic of the present will be the magic of the past in the future...

Beautiful theme... this track... for me... would work without the vocals.

simply great . . . soooo soft the git.-solo . . . !

"the magic of the present"  . . . mostly is based on our data of yesterday   . . .

down loaded in our personal data base,

with which we calculate  -based on these data -

a possible future. . .

what is it, what we have to do, if we want to have

something really new . . . hm . . . :o)

Seems to go new ways. This harp arps sound smoothy and create a light and airy atmosphere. It´s ambient, good work.

SpriteBat wrote on 3/21/2011, 12:16 AM

Wonderful song! Sorry my comment is late.

I love the atmosphere! It is magical, as the title implies. The audio clip sounds kind of weird, but I got used to it after a while. Really impressive solo. Not too fast or too slow. It compliments the song perfectly. 5*

ps: This is kind of random, but you might like the synth intro to this song.

It has a similar mood to what you have done here.
