Title: The Boss
Artists: GRIFF
Album: The Boss

Hi Folks!

Just a little "Jazz/Funk"  I put together many months months ago.  Finally decided to put the finishing touches on it.  A bunch of Kontakt instruments used.

Disclaimer: No instruments were hurt during the making of this production... <lol>

Hope you like.

WHO da BOSS?   GRIFF da boss!  Da boss of  jazz 'round here anyways!

As always, you put everything where it goes and at the right time so everything winds up bein' just as mellow as jello with a squirt o' Redi Whip!  None of that fake stuff!

Do I hear the muted trumpet of Kontakt? I believe I do.  Nice sound .  Need I say more?

Salut mon cher ami,

Pat

A talented and authentic genre piece.

Sounds like I am in the 70's  taking a cruise down a neon street, observing and enjoying  the nightlife.

Superb production values.

Hi Erol,

yes i like this groovy basic theme. As always designed very much alive.
Reminds me partial to Miles Davis, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham.
The all have the same musical soul ................ you they have too!

It has again made a lot of fun ................ thank you for it.

best regards to NY.

A BIG BAND IN ONE MAN !!! FANTASTIC !! CIAO DA SANDRO

Last changed by Sandro_Glavina_Channel on 8/4/2016, 6:00 PM, changed a total of 1 times.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

...yesss Sir - this kind of music is more my taste  A bit funky, a bit jazzy. A booming bass with fine sax-sections.

I'll made it short - great my friend

Hi Griff,

You are "Da Boss"!

Love the super funk running through this. The openning bass line reminded me of "You Ain't No Streetwalker Mama, But I Sure Do Love The Way You Strut Your Stuff" by Taj Mahal and then you took it to some other very, very cool places. This is the type of music I could listen to always.

A dazzling Funk offering resplendent with "funkdelicious" grooves and a suave sophistication inspired by your jazz pedigree. This one sauntered into my Fav's all by its bad self.

I love it!

Cheers,

Stu

Music has always been part of my life. I started making music as a hobby for a couple of years ago. I work in an aluminum production plant, hard work but I'm not complaining.

Cheers Music friends :-)
