OPEN HOUSE BLUES BAND:

Hi You All!!!

After a sabbatical time, that we didn’t play at all, for quite some time, we decide to reunite once again for a great evening, full of music and geniality.

All that mixed with a couple of beers and a few friends, as made this a great night.

One of those amazing friends, gave us the pleasure and the honor to play with us, Manuel Rodrigues has contributed with his guitar, and fabulous voice to this Deep Purple cover song called Soldier Of Fortune.
I’ve personally,  already played with Manuel in some other occasions and projects, different projects, but this time we challenged him  to play in a different area, in a diferent style of music, outside his comfort zone, and he has corresponded with a superb performance.

We would like to thank him for is amazing work, for his time, we definitely had a blast that evening and we hope that very soon we can play all together again!

(The original song can be found on the Stormbringer Album from Deep Purple and can and should be seen and heard at Youtube!)

Hope you enjoy it!

OPEN HOUSE BLUES BAND IS:

Jean Loup – Guitars/Guitar Solo

Jose Kafka – Keyboards

Emanuel Correia - Bass

Kim Gotee – Drums

Invited Friend :

Manuel Rodrigues – Guitars / Voice

Hi Emanuel:

Mr. Rodrigues has a fabulous voice and plays a luscious guitar.  But, even beyond that, your regular band members, along with your right-on-target bass, are tightly knit and musically sound,

I've mentioned to you, on several occasions, that I find your group a distinct pleasure to listen.  As a former band member, I can pretty much tell that when a band is having a fun time.  And, you fellas are certainly generating that vibe.

I took a trip over to Youtube and listened to Stormbringer's original version.  You guys really have really done the song a lot of justice Emanuel.  Bountiful kudos to you and the guys!

Solid as a rock my friend.

very emotional and deep version; maybe the mix could be clearer; some words had been written about that before.

I love it!

I know nothing about music. Only listened .. Using technology also makes possible for me to be able to make music.

I am also into photography amateur.

I'm not here for stars score but coment with advice for improvement of my music.

at my coment on music of others, I remain honest. this must be mutual .

I give my voice just as public and not as someone who knows something from music.

I'm open to all criticism. I want to learn something

I'm always glad to listen to this kind of selfmade music - friends meet to have a music session...

I enjoyed this song so much.
