Title: hymne ish remixed 2

Hello Music People

This is a schmaltzy love song that I suppose could be a song in a movie where a couple rides off into the sunset and lives happily ever after.  The title took me longer to come up with than the song did to write and I'm still not satisfied with it.  So if anyone has an idea for a better title, I am totally open to suggestions.

The melody is a piano/string combo from my old Alesis keyboard and the flutes are magix orchestral woodwinds.

Thanks for listening and for a comment if you want to write one.

Trish

Hi Trishie:

Trying to create a unique title for one's musical creations are always an agonizing experience for me.  It seems that nothing that comes to mind ever conveys or imparts the song's essence.  However, over the years, I've learned not to dwell too long over a composition's title; too frustrating and time-consuming...

This gorgeous song creates its own title (at least in my mind).  The melody seems to undulate under its own accord.  It's simply a beautiful piece.  Damn be the title!

Lastly, your vision of a cinematic conclusion, whereby two lovers fade off into the backdrop of a melting sunset, is quite apropos -- even to a hardened soul like myself.

Yeah its a lovely song. Beautifully played. Maybe you should call it "Into the sunset". IMO that is a perfectly suitable title as it describes the soundscape you have created. Rhythms of the heart indicates a beat of some kind. ;) Just as you said. It is a very schmaltzy musical end to a very very romantic movie. A classic romantic movie. like from the 50's. Not these gross out romantic comedies of today. Old school Mills and Boon romance. Haha.

Trish,
that's a delightful piece of music and wonderfully played.

'Rhythms of my heart' fits very well.

SpriteBat wrote on 2/21/2016, 12:56 AM

I can't stand how good you are!  This has your usual combination of technical skill and emotion, both abundantly poured into this lovely composition. I was just thinking about you, literally a few hours ago, when I was listening to this song:  The keyboards reminded me of you for those reasons (technical skill and emotion).

That's all for now. Sorry, no title comes to mind. I have trouble with that too.

Former user wrote on 2/21/2016, 4:06 AM

the plan is a tool that if played well always conveys strong feelings to the listener.

in your case I think, every time I hear one of your works, it seems to feel an improvement, not so much in playing the instrument, in which you are certainly a teacher.

but above all for the feelings that can transmit through music.

I enjoyed this track is magnificent

schmaltzy? Did you loose your own language? schmaltzy is almost german We say "schmalzig". But it's true - the music is schmaltzy and romantic. Where is my tissue? The magix samples fits together with your gentle piano playing. Better title? I don't know. Schmaltzy tune? *****

Hi Trish,
also with this song you sent me strong emotions, the sound delicate and sweet melody coming deep inside the listener, not always this sound must be matched with sentimental scenes, but this can 'be the sound of those who looks inside himself, or blended with a good memory, or a gesture of peace.
In any case, is the music of your heart.
Applause.

Hoi Trish

Hehe...."schmaltzy love song".....that sounds funny. So if you say that in English??

A song is wonderful. Full feeling played by the Queen of the Keys.

A tribute to your KnowHow on piano. Wonderful.

Well Trish, this is gorgeous! I wouldn't call it anything else, these are the rhythms of your heart and they are beautiful.

I could listen to this all day, and I will have the chance because it is firmly embeded in my fav's!

As the song was coming to an end, I was thinking OK, hit replay. Then it ended and I found myself not doing anything, just savouring the song as the closing notes echoed in my mind. It was absolutely soothing and left me in quite a tranquil state. Once the euphoria lifted, I of course hit the replay button like a famished shark on a musical feeding frenzy.

Trish, you play some beuatiful music but these rythyms of your heart have certainly struck a chord in mine.

Exceptional to say the least.

Best Regards,

Stu

Hallo Trish,

Quite nice piece...Playd in your own way of playing...
Wurzel wrote some interesting things about arpeggios....
My new title for this piece could be: "What now, Mr. Clayderman"...

from me 5* and best wishes

How about 'Funkey's Fingers Take Flight'.  Whether you consider it soppy or not it is exqusitely written and performed, Trish.  Had you just watched Love Story or Kramer vs Kramer before you wrote this?  If so, watch more films and let rip with how they make you feel.  Works for me, and then some.  Beautiful.

jjnicholls55 wrote on 2/29/2016, 4:26 AM

superb trish. I love your piano work its simply beautiful and its is from the heart, so the title is perfect. you nailed the woodwinds and flute, they fit just great.

cheers
