Thanks to all for your kind comments on,"Chasing a Spider". And Michael, yes I wouldn't have the heart to kill it.

And as for today's offering , "Repitch Dub" ; It is the result of an experiment with the Delay inserts in Ableton Live. While Live's two regular delay units - Ping Pong Delay and Simple Delay - are wholly 'digital' in terms of sound and functionality, by right-clicking the title bar of either, you can switch them to the Repitch transition mode, which causes tape/analogue-style pitchshifting when the delay time is adjusted. All manner of wild, dubbed-out sounds can be created by automating delay times in Repitch mode.

And always remember to convert your favorite MIDI creations to Sample Loops. I created the opening drum track on a Korg machine that I no longer own. I do,however, still retain one of my all-time favorite Dub Beats.

-All the Best,Teddy

This is a cool atmosphere you've created. It reminds me of atmospheric music from video games (theme music for different locations) like in Zelda, for example. It has a distinct mood, and seems like it could keep looping for as long as necessary.

I hope you're having a good weekend - happy MLK Jr. day!
