Hello Musical Companions!

Here is another song that has been lurking on my hard drive for a while (practically finished).  So, I did not have to do too much with it (still trying to get some pain-free mobility on my left side back in order).

There are a few styles within this piece, but I guess if one has to put a label on it, Jazz is just fine.  The instruments used are pretty clear, with the alto sax and keyboards doing most of the heavy-lifting.

Hope you enjoy.

Griff

Hi my friend,
Here again you have done a brilliant sound . This exchange between rhythmic groove and free interpretation is simply your personal touch .
To present music to a high art you perfectly mastered .
It is always a great joy .

You are the father of jazz .

Edi-no1 wrote on 4/16/2015, 11:47 AM

Hi Griff,

The alto sax sounds wonderfully. I've just recalled of the album  title "sax &sex" by some Polish pop/rock band. Of course in regard to word "sax" not your music. This is so stupid association ....OK,  never mind.

This is a really magnificent jazz song. Superb stuff Griff as always.

Have you got more such awesome tunes lurking on your hard drive? For sure a pile of diamonds like this one

Best wishes,

Edyta

I know nothing about music. Only listened .. Using technology also makes possible for me to be able to make music.

I am also into photography amateur.

I'm not here for stars score but coment with advice for improvement of my music.

at my coment on music of others, I remain honest. this must be mutual .

I give my voice just as public and not as someone who knows something from music.

I'm open to all criticism. I want to learn something

Hi Griff,

Well...........this has got to be one of your classics!!   I enjoyed the listen very much.  Just love the bass line.

Overall, a very nice blend of a selection of instruments, and very well balanced.

Take care my friend and get well soon.

OK My Buddy,

This is definitely keeping me "On The Edge" of my seat...wondering what I will hear next.  The smooth interchanges between the different styles in this piece are energizing and kept me engaged all the way through.  Classic, smooth, contemporary, acid...it all came into play here.  Love...love...LOVE it Griff.

It looks like the archives are giving up some great treasures...I think we need to continue to "open up the chests", pull out these valueable pieces and share their beauty.

As usual, I am impressed and appreciate the great listening experiences I have when I'm invited to listen to your creations...they are truly a work of art.

Outstanding!!

that was stored in your hard drive, I think it was a mistake.
but activity in the important thing to know and correct the mistakes made.
So with great pleasure I could listen to this you say, new work.
the quality of your music is undeniable, you love jazz and everything around him and feels.
your music is always very refined and closer to a style not always appreciated even those who do not know him.
I have listened with great pleasure and I must say that I really liked.
compliments excellent track

Hey Griffster

What can I possibly say that hasn't already been said or that I haven't already said about your previous offerings?

Griff, your talent never ceases to amaze me and it causes great jealously that courses madly through my veins as I listen to remarkable harmonies and smooth melodies intertwining like those swirly caramel candies ( the individually wrapped, hard kind).  I'm just trying to write something different.  I hope you like it as much as I like this tune of yours!

I bid you adieu, mon ami

Well Griff. You are the Jazz man and have made a burbon drinking detective. In the dim lighten alleybar.

You do posses a great talent!

Here to listen be inspired and improve own skill in music making and mastering etc.

Mostly make music with a movie ongoing so much of the tracks will be more soundtrack'ish than actual club/dance orientated. Sadly Iam yet to un-skilled in the process of making the actual moving pictures/movies.

I really appreciate the nice feedback. Makes a happy Happy.

Must admit that my deutsc/german is stinking and cant translate comments in that launguage very good.

Please keep comments in english, unless its very very bad critism, then please use Deutsc ;P

My movie projects are located on youtube as I cant get to upload here.

Please veiw and comment.

A great song my friend.
