God bless you all and your music.~~~Clay Brian Wilson P.S. Vocals and some lyrics by Maynard James & Piano and xylophone by John Duffin. The fusing of leaves dancing and people's freedom.

LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND

Music & Lyric/Maynard James, John Duffin & Clay Wilson

Intro.: Piano version

Chorus: LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND (hooray)

Dancing over meadow (hooray, hooray)

Dancing over lakes (hooray)

Endlessly whirling through the air (hooray) of daybreak.

Chorus: LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND

See the pendulum

LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND

Hear the autumn drum

Hear as autumn comes singing to you.

Verse: LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND

Dancing over meadow

Dancing over lakes

Where the wind and water breaks

Marching onward to the seas

For you and me (to see)

And me and you

And all of us together.

Chorus: Hooray, hooray, hooray

Hear the people sing (hooray)

Hear the people sing

Hear the people sing

Hooray, hooray, hooray

See what freedom brings.

Chorus: LEAVES ARE DANCING IN THE WIND.

Bridge: For you and me

For me and you

For all of you.

Clay, this is another nice collaboration with Maynard and John. I like the music and I like the sentiment. May we all dance freely on the wind. 🍁🍁🍁🍁

Hello Ken, Thank you again for reviewing this collaboration. Maynard really has a unique voice and John's piano playing is as well. Indeed may we all dance freely in the wind. Thanks again, Ken! Clay8-) P.S. A really distinguished and good photo of you. You look like some of the wise men from hundreds of years ago. What was the name of that gentleman that read some of the poems in our collaborations, Ken? Ken, I meant to ask you where do you get the beautiful graphics you use for your pieces of music?

Hi Clay. Yes, that is the way I look these days. I guess if I have to get old it's at least good to be told that I look wise. 😀 However, I'm afraid my memory is not so good because I have forgotten the name of the man who read the poetry. His readings were available for free download at a site called Classical Poetry Aloud (or something like that). He has a good voice but I would sometimes change it to make it even deeper sounding. I wish I knew his name but I can no longer remember. Maybe it's listed somewhere on the poetry website. (I hope I'm not wrong in thinking his readings are public domain.) As for the pictures I use, I get them by doing an internet search. For example, with your song "Leaves Are Dancing in the Wind" I would type into the search box "leaves in the wind" and then see what kind of pictures come up and keep looking until I find one that I like. If I wanted the pictures to be of paintings I would add the word "painting" to the search terms. At times it can take me a good long while to find just the right picture I want. I hope that helps you. Anyway, thanks for the kind words and I'll catch you later.

Thank you very, very much Ken and Siggi-M for the very nice reviews, Brothers! You look great, Ken. As for memory even mine is not quite as sharp, but keep using it and challenging yourself. Remember the old adage Use it or you lose it. I believe the man's name is Tennyson. I should have looked at your collaborations you did with me, Ken. Maybe his full name was Alfred Tennyson, or something like that. And thanks for the info on finding the right graphics. I'll have to try paintings sometime. Sounds interesting, Ken. Well, you enjoy the weekend, and thanks again for your reviews; I always appreciate them. God bless you, Clay8-)

Beautiful voice my friend Clay. Beautifully created, this song reminds me of the songs from the 70s, where I listened to my father's records on the record player. The music is very beautiful ... 100,000,000 suns to you my friend. I like you very much for your ability to be a helpful, humble and sincere person in your words. I am proud of you as a friend at Magix.info's house. I hug my friend Clay. Paulo Costa.

Hello APMC & MG4, Thank you both very much for listening and your kind words, Brothers! Indeed APMC, Maynard James has a beautiful voice and so rich with passion and unique vocal phrasing. You know the 70s is mainly what I enjoyed and I believe Maynard and John did, too. We all grew up in that era. You are so kind! God bless you both and your music! Clay8-)

Nice one. Lovely piano and vocals. John, Maynard, and Clay what a powerful trio you all make. Lots of soul and passion to this one, short but very expressive. Very well done and a pleasure to hear. Hope all is well for all of you.... musicMD
