"In Your Name" is another moderate tempo Contemporary Jazz instrumental piece of mine.  I really enjoyed working on this one. This song is jazz but you can hear a little classical within it as well.  This could very well crossover as pop too.  It promotes a feeling of peacefulness and relaxation.

I hope you like this song as well.  Thank you for listening to and supporting Brenda Craven Music!

What happens when life breaks down?

When there is systemic contradiction?
My name symbolized all that was corrupt to society.
His name symbolized all that was pure.

And I was being hailed in the embrace of the man who was pure.

And these inviolable sanctities were preserved in those ten words.

And it is the de-sacralization of all of these that has put us in the mess that we find ourselves.

Isn't it true, alas it is much worse.

A person may end up believing in anything.

You know, if that human acceptance does so much for you and me.

Think of what it is when God himself puts his arms around you and says

"Welcome home".

What love is this?

It is God's love.

And no other love can be defined until that love has properly been understood.

If you can’t make the trip to my studio yourself, don’t worry I now have my brand new Online Mastering Service. Many of my customers are happy to leave me to it, and my wide-ranging experience ensures that you can trust me to make sound judgements on your behalf – no pun intended!

The services on offer include both attended and unattended (online) mastering, vinyl cutting, re-mastering, editing and restoration. For further details please message me here.

A gorgeous room full of lots of lovely equipment isn’t going to cut the mustard unless it’s in the hands of an experienced creative engineer who understands your music and how to get the results you’re looking for.

I personally have been mastering for over 14 years now.
i have remixed and engineered for alice deejay.

Please note home mastering and studio mastering are not the same. This is a misconception. the process is different, and while the sound of the polished track may seem the same to the NAKED EAR so to speak actually sound different to the trained ear.

THE TRACKS I WILL BE UPLOADING WILL BE ONLY "HOME" MASTERING. (fast process). music maker defaults are ok but not polished.

most people are not concerned about the mastering there more comcerned about the FEEL.

i do not work for free so please do not sent me tracks to be mastered (for free). my time is not cheap.

there are some rules that are just plain idiotic. What are some examples of this behavior, why do people do it? Is it because (This is my assumption) they are afraid of the unknown? They are afraid of taking risk? Or is something that happens during the "nurturing" phase of life with overprotective parents. Maybe it's even a genetic thing.

IF I DO NOT LIKE THE MUSIC I WILL "NOT"  WORK WITH IT.

I ONLY EVER WORK WITH MUSIC I PERSONALLY ENJOY.
THIS WAY MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH CAN BE MET TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Hi Brenda:

In a word... sweet!  I can definitely hear a "classical" tinge in your melodic "oversweep" of the two genres.  The "Jazz" elements in this piece is more on the so-called "Light-Contemporary" side (which I also like).  This style of music is what I have playing in my car as I'm crawling through New York City traffic on some days.  Actually, some of your chord and melodic selections remind me (just a smidgen) of one of my favorite pianists', David Benoit.  I call this style of music, "candy for the ear".  And, like candy, it can be quite addictive.

Once again, Brenda, you never fail to entertain...

Have a very pleasant weekend...

Griff

Hi Brenda

I'm liking these chord changes you use. Not the ordinary I-IV-V chords which can get a little boring.

I would really like to hear something from you without drums in the background just because that would allow more rubato or variation of tempo.  Not that I don't LOVE what you're doing but just for a different side of you.  Just a thought/

Loved this

Trish

Hi Brenda!

Nice to hear a new song from you! :-) A very great song! The music and your piano playing is again fantastic but the drums are not so good for me. A little bit smoother when it goes for my opinion, sorry! And you know, I miss your voice, not spcialy for this song! :-) I hope you get help, for your technical problems and in the next songs, we hear your voice! :-)) For this song, I can give you 4 Christmasstars! I hope that is ok for you! :-) Thank you for sharing!

best wishes ever

regards Bernd

Wonderfully uplifting, as are the majority of your great offerings.  Love the key changes (if that's what they are - bet you'll tell me they aren't - ignorant me).  You have a marvellous Christmas season.  That's an order . . . . .
