I want to thank all who listened and everyone who left an encouraging comment on my 1st version of Horror Dub.  If you don't know what a Treadle is , it is the pedal part of the Wah device(and mine squeaks terribly). I used my Digitech EX7 with most of the guitar that you hear in this version. I also took SpriteBat's advice and rolled the cymbals on the 2nd Break. You might also notice that I've changed the simple electric piano 1/4 note chucking on the 2nd Bridge for scales that I achieved using the Arpeggiator function in Ableton's MIDI FX.

Cool! The new guitars fit in perfectly and add even more character. One other thing I forgot last time: the hi hats have a swing rhythm and the ride is straight. But you probably wanted it that way, right?

Great work, as always.

PS: The title/concept made me think of this song, which has a bit of a horror theme.

What happens when life breaks down?

When there is systemic contradiction?
My name symbolized all that was corrupt to society.
His name symbolized all that was pure.

And I was being hailed in the embrace of the man who was pure.

And these inviolable sanctities were preserved in those ten words.

And it is the de-sacralization of all of these that has put us in the mess that we find ourselves.

Isn't it true, alas it is much worse.

A person may end up believing in anything.

You know, if that human acceptance does so much for you and me.

Think of what it is when God himself puts his arms around you and says

"Welcome home".

What love is this?

It is God's love.

And no other love can be defined until that love has properly been understood.

If you can’t make the trip to my studio yourself, don’t worry I now have my brand new Online Mastering Service. Many of my customers are happy to leave me to it, and my wide-ranging experience ensures that you can trust me to make sound judgements on your behalf – no pun intended!

The services on offer include both attended and unattended (online) mastering, vinyl cutting, re-mastering, editing and restoration. For further details please message me here.

A gorgeous room full of lots of lovely equipment isn’t going to cut the mustard unless it’s in the hands of an experienced creative engineer who understands your music and how to get the results you’re looking for.

I personally have been mastering for over 14 years now.
i have remixed and engineered for alice deejay.

Please note home mastering and studio mastering are not the same. This is a misconception. the process is different, and while the sound of the polished track may seem the same to the NAKED EAR so to speak actually sound different to the trained ear.

THE TRACKS I WILL BE UPLOADING WILL BE ONLY "HOME" MASTERING. (fast process). music maker defaults are ok but not polished.

most people are not concerned about the mastering there more comcerned about the FEEL.

i do not work for free so please do not sent me tracks to be mastered (for free). my time is not cheap.

there are some rules that are just plain idiotic. What are some examples of this behavior, why do people do it? Is it because (This is my assumption) they are afraid of the unknown? They are afraid of taking risk? Or is something that happens during the "nurturing" phase of life with overprotective parents. Maybe it's even a genetic thing.

IF I DO NOT LIKE THE MUSIC I WILL "NOT"  WORK WITH IT.

I ONLY EVER WORK WITH MUSIC I PERSONALLY ENJOY.
THIS WAY MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH CAN BE MET TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Hi Teddy:

Hope you're having a great Christmas season.

The mix on this is fabulous.  Each track is articulate and as clear as a bell.  And as you and others well know (especially when using certain guitar effects) that is of prime importance.

I agree with Alan that certain phrases (particularly the bass & wah) brings to mind a few show themes from early '80's TV.  ((Love that sound).

Stellar work, man!

FANTASTIC !!!!!  - Merry Christmas and Happy new year - ciao da sandro

Last changed by Sandro_Glavina_Channel on 12/24/2014, 4:19 PM, changed a total of 1 times.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Merry Christmas! Sorry to bother you, but I was talking about the ride cymbal at 1:35, for example. Whenever it goes "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and a..." my mind wants those underlined sixteenth notes to be swung like the hi hat in the other section. But of course there's no right or wrong. I just wanted to clarify that.

Wow great tune! I have'nt been to this site in a while, been jamming live with people from all over on a site called www. jamkazam.com  the site allows you to play with as many as 5 different musicians at the same time. This is live, in real time. It's FREE . The sessions can be private or open to all. I like that you're able to record those sessions to use them in your DAW. I think the site as been up for a year. Anyway thought I'd pass that along. I'm on there as James C if you want to jam.
