LYRICS:
I’m roaming down to nowhere, cause I lost my soul.
Today I cannot find the men who care.
When I was young life was easy, easier than tonight.
The moon is only light which show me the way.

It’s time to change dresses; it’s time to move on.
All that I love is gone, I gotta go.
The train goes to the no man’s land, I see it’s only little chance
But I wave goodbye and go to find new home.

If you hardly try to find some place to hide away
than you barely breath and lately fail.
The treasures are often hidden closer than you ever wait.
Just open your eyes and listen to your heart my friend.

It’s time to know the meaning of your wretched life.
It’s time calculate what you gave and what you’ve got.

No matter what you feel now
‘cause it come here back no more.

No matter what they’ve said
but what they are saying now, common,

Back to life, back to life.

Very nice!  Well written.  The only suggestion I would make is that (and a lot of musicians unfortunately do this) you should avoid putting lead guitar riffs underneath singing; its a major conflict of composition: both are intended to be heard solo and unless in a harmonic circumstance (i.e.; Boston's work,  Jimi Hendrix) its a major distraction.  We cannot appreciate the talent of either source.  The lead guitar typically strikes very high notes as in the case with this song and competes with your beautiful, lower-toned voice.

I take it you are a guitarist and love to play.  Its so much more appreciated when you are allowed to have a stand alone lead segment without voice that builds crescendos and occupies the upper realms of the sound spectrum, floating high above the peice below which carries it.  Just a suggestion.  I was raised in a very musical family and my brother is probably the best solo lead guitarist I've ever heard (and everyone from the lead guitarist from White Snake and Steely Dan and most guitarists in between agree); so I have a good handle on the level of appreciation for the guitar.  (BTW, you can look him up online: he's a master sound mixer and creator of DML Studios: he's Mastered tons of plantinum albulms and ALL of Blink 182's work was written and produced in his studio.  His name is Don Lithgow; a total genius!, that said without bias at all).

I love listening to all of your work; you have so much talent and such a beautiful mind.  I'd love to spend a few hours floating around inside your head, listening to the melodies that swirl through there first hand... If only!  The ultimate vacation! LOL!  Peace brother!  Keep knocking 'em dead!  -Gene

...schöne Gitarren, die für mich leider etwas untergehen. Dafür ist der Gesang Spitze! Klingt für mich ein wenig nach David Bowie. Last Question: Sample or Live???

Hi!

Nice voice! The peps at the intro should be kicked away. I can hear the drums not really, too.

Good arrangement with a really niche voice Ihink, Uwe
