I think I might have posted an earlier version of this tune that was penned by George Harrison.  I had another go at this classic. Or,more correctly, it has been an obsession for the past few weeks.

I've heard some recently published out takes and remixes of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"and I am convinced that the inclusion of Eric Clapton on the original version was a mistake. Don't get me wrong,I respect and enjoy Clapton as much as anyone,I just think that his instincts failed the song. And it is a credit to George Harrison that he held their friendship in higher esteem than this very fine piece of music.

I used my Rogue HH for the main solo line and my 58' LP for the slide guitar parts. And my G&L SB-1 for the bass track. The rest is mostly MIDI instruments.

-All the Best,Teddy

Oh yes. I forgot to mention my little friend and companion/ my Ibanez Sage acoustic. A sweet guitar! Rings out like a Gibson.

I grow up with the Beatles and if I heard this song the first time, I love it! It has a special melancholy, very rare.

If somebody cover this song, he has to meet the spirit of this song and its a must that we can hear it. You have done it! Very good work my friend!

Keep on!

Sounds incredible! Not only does the lead part have a ton of depth and personality, but all the backing stuff is also flawless. I never get tired of that type of organ sound.

5* Great job, I really enjoyed it.

Random fact: I just started playing bass last week.

I don't know what it is that made the BeaTles so great but they actually were almost magical. And you made this song your own. Very nice!
