Hello Family,

This is a re-mastering of my song posted a few days ago called "Fallen In Love."

TheDJGrandfatherKoeddi (LG Dirk) so graciously collaboratively remastered this for me and it sounds great.  He is still working on another version of this song as well, but you will have to wait and see what that will be.

Anyway, big kudos and hats off to Dirk for such a tremendous job on my music.  Dirk...please feel free to add any other information and/or comments.  I appreciate your skill.

Hi Brenda:

Just listened.  Oh yes, this version is crisper and more detailed than the previous.  My buddy Dirk, has performed a fine task.  But, let it be known, that even if this song was performed underwater, in a crate, with a pile of bricks atop that crate, this would 'still' be a beautiful song.

Brenda - Beautiful track - soulfully moody, sensual and bluesy. What gets me is the tension created by the panio with its momentary pauses followed by the expectation of a piano melody which dosen't dissapoint - exquisite - love it, 5* from me.

Hi Brenda

I went back and listened to your first version (which I saw nothing wrong with) and personally I prefer the first verion.  At least on my end, the bass was too strong and caused a buzzing in this version and I think perhaps the reverb was a little much in spots.  I think reverb is great but can be over done.

So, Personally, I think I will stick with your version of this very wonderful song.

Hi Brenda

I LOVED your first version and saw nothing wrong with it - including the mastering.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

At least on my end (and it may have been my stereo or headphones) the bass was a bit "buzzy" and the reverb was a little too much in spots.  That's my personal opinion.  I'll stick with your first rendition

A very nice touch on this version.  Kudos for both of you.

Hi Brenda ,
very nice soft song . the subject I really like . Sorry Koeddi , but as for the mastering , it is not well done for me
Drums and bass guitar are not differentiated enough to me . Sorry , that sounds too mushy ! I hope I make myself even more unpopular than not I'm already . But unfortunately that is a truth that should also speak .

but the decisive factor is the base material

Full star with minor degradation !

Gruss Freddy

HI BRENDA !!!! EXCELLENT !! WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE !! - CIAO DA SANDRO

Last changed by Sandro_Glavina_Channel on 6/15/2015, 6:12 PM, changed a total of 1 times.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Hi Brenda,

Loved the original and love this one as well. Definitely can pick out the layered instruments a little more clearly, nice job Dirk!

Personally, I would prefer the piano to be a tad more dryer. I agree with trish, reverb can add a lot of deoth but can also saturate the sound. Agian only my personal preference, loved the song.

Best Regards,

Stu
