I created and performed this piano, guitar based instrumental during the Covid era. It was meant to be part of a virtual rock concert for peace and hope for all. I wish that this musical-story brings hope that the future still holds possibilities we have never dreamed of. Just be a little different from the times and share hope with others, especially the younger people that there is always room for hope and comfort and problems can be solved provided we participate in the effort bringing a better future ;)

This piece was part of my 'Holding the world' album. Together I am sure during the present world situation we all miss a good rock or classical concert. To fill in the missing space in our lives I have produced by the art of studio synthesis a mini-rock-concert that expresses a world held together by hope and brotherly and sisterly love. And of course this expression in music has always had a part in bringing us together. With the best of my studio resources I have produced this first track of the 'Holding Our World Together' album. For those who do live music may this give you help and ideas in what you will do on stage as we return to the theaters. May you play your sounds to once again "hold the world together"! Peace my friends!

Always of interest to listen to the synths. A fine piece of music with many passages and dramatic moments. I think I sense optimism towards the end that the negativity suggested by the earlier passages will be overcome. I will never be on stage! Performing live is not my style. For now, I'd say the future is AI, at least it's getting the publicity anyway.

Good for you, having an album! Not my style either. Just videos.

I enjoyed watching your video and the images went well with the music.

Thanks for your visit and your words Philip. Yes, you got the idea. There is the state of affairs at the beginning, then the 'escaping'. But what are we escaping to? Optimism in life is necessity for survival. I once had a boss in the engineering field who would always say 'Never bring a problem to the table without a solution to go with it'. A good habit to get into. And most of all give comfort to those who need it, don't leave them without hope ;)

Well I have never performed on the stage. But to give ideas to those who do perform on stage. Yes I have the comfort of my own little studio, a sacred place where my dreams get expressed. Though if someone who loves me begs for me to go on stage I will some day.

An album is a place where you group together songs that are related in a theme. Sometimes I do that.

Well yes a 'noir' song can still have a comforting finish. Thank you much for your good understanding of my 'Escape from a Nightmare' theme instrumental. And even add a little humor to it ;). I suppose with guitar pickups you could still perform while wearing a space suit on the moon, Mars, wherever. Thanks Again!

Thank you for your warm and hopeful words ;) The world changes in time. For my parents and grandparents the world was more like it seems today. You having lost a family member and another one so dear to you very ill, and the poor message you get about the world around you ... you deserve the best of friends, who care about how young people perceive the world. Thanks for your wonderful words and thanks for the wink, thumbs up, and 3 beers ... well for me I have a Blue Moon on tap once in a 'blue moon'. Yea, Elon is a good example with the best intentions in the art of business and technology. I have had the experience of having many walks of life and wearing many hats! My soul is in the twilight zone of life where anything is possible. Nobody seems to be able to really figure me out but I do have some strong commitments. And I did have a hand in shaping some of the technology. To me technology is a valuable to tool that can work miracles or be abused. And when large populations of people refuse to read the 'operating manual' of the technologies, but expect instant gratification without responsibility (well you know the result). But then comes the finger pointing, blame, etc. The easiest way to make the best of it is to have that hope, and have a heart. There are some of us who are a good example of that ;). No one needs to be a super hero, just make the best of what is in our capability and reach and things naturally fall into place. And keep the music playing !!!!!!!!
