These young Blue Jays are flexing their wings getting ready to leave the nest. Surprisingly their were five chicks in this nest. I photographed them for ten days. Their difficult to photograph, quick and flighty. Most of my photos are taken with fill-in flash. I prefer the faster shutter speed in low light conditions to maintain depth of field and sharpness. My camera is a point and shot. Not a good choice for a professional, but its the best I can do for now.
