Hello, to all my friends in the Magix Community,
I put up this post, more for the content in my presentation than for the music I submitted.
I am so totally hooked on this platform as it has provided me with so many creative wonders and meeting so many interesting people that I can't help but to call you all my friends and even part of my family.
I have grown very close to many in the community here and miss many that I wish would return, such as Jochen-S, Roy, Siggi-M and a few others. I wish I had the time to see and listen to all your music, but it is a difficult thing for me to do. I am humbled whenever my work is complemented by so many people that I respect and give me the confidence to be creative in my own right as I glean ideas from all those that are here. I would probably quit if Stephen, our esteemed moderator ever quit. He has been very helpful in the growth of my music and patient (no pun Intended) for my shenanigans which I am sure he had to work overtime, to put up with me at times LOL. The holidays are approaching, and I've been listening to Christmas music for the last 3 weeks as Kathy and I have been decorating the house in anticipation of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Me at 79 and Kathy 5 years my junior, it just takes us longer.
"Bunganut Mist" is about one and a half years old and trended on Bandlab for a short time. It is a favorite of mine as I did the melody on the midi ab lib and improv, just on a feeling for the strings and piano. I did a video using my own old vacation photos and video clips of the lake. I redid the video with clips plucked from Pexels and Pixabay and I believe the new version is more in sync with the music. Thank you as always for your thoughtful and candid comments. Enjoy Life and stay safe.
Your Sibling, CHRIS
