Atmospheric Song

Hello Family,

It's been quite a stormy time in the Midwest portion of the United States.  I've been seriously thinking about looking at the dimensions of the ark and building one so we don't get swept away by the enormous amounts of rain.  (Just Kidding)  But one day as I was watching the storm clouds form and roll in, I couldn't help but to think about what it must be like up above those storm clouds...peaceful, serene, tranquil.  That says a lot about how we handle the storms of our life...do we dwell above them or do we exhaust ourselves fighting against the turbulence they create.  As I thought about all of this, "Atmospheric Song" became a reality.

Enjoy.

Brenda

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

What a wonderful smooth sound. And also a great composition in which - by the way - I wouldn't miss the intense snare drums at all. (In my eyes, a light pair of shakers or so would do.) All in all very charming, and very peacefula nd indeed "atmospheric".

Hi Brenda:

Some of our most amazing creations spring from our most diverse experiences.  "Storm clouds".   Well, this song shows that the germ of creativity was forming in your mind even while you were witnessing nature at its worst.  The result being this enjoyable song.

This is a wonderful listen; buoyant, lively, and as  smooth as a freshly cut precious gem.  A typically uplifting piece of music from you.

It's a pleasure pressing my ears to my speakers while absorbing yet another delightful performance from you, musical buddy.

What a nice song to wake up with.  Got my coffee and I'm on my way to a happy day!

I hear ya about the storms.  Every single day, we have been getting the same.... lightening, thunder and my dogs go crazy (and muddy!)

This is such a mellow, smooth jazz tune that I will definitely listen several times more after I put it in my save file.

So gald to have you back.  Oh...I forgot.  I really, really like how you put the piano part on the off beat.

Hi Brenda!

WOW!  Jazzy! Liked the tune of the song! Your piano playing is really good and the melody you're playing is nice!
The background instruments fill up the song and evoke a great atmosphere!

The only thing I have to criticize: The drums...They are out of rhythm at some points...

Nevertheless a great song! Enjoyed it a lot!

Thanks for sharing!

All the best

Hola amiga .Lo primero disculpas por mi tardar,I am not time for Magix now, excuse,mi Englis is bad.....

If you go far above the clouds where the sun always shines and the rain never falls - what a dreamy place to park ones mind - your music takes my mind there while my body is in the turmal of daily life - Thanks for the break - appreciated.

Great again. Maybe the drums are a little bit too loud.
