Title: PH Whiter Shade of Pale

Hi Music Makers

"A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum has been a favorite song of mine since the 60's.  It was written in 1967.  One of my keyboards has a setting called "WhitrShade" as one of the organ sounds so of course I used that one!

Thanks for listening
Trish

Hi Trishie:

I had already logged out when I saw that you had posted this.  I whole-heartedly echo your words about this song.  Not only is it a classic, but it's a "classic"  for all the right reasons.

You do this this classic great justice, my dear friend.  No surprise there.  But, not taking your performances for granted either.  Let's just say that we've grown accustomed to your talents, and have come to expect nothing less from you.

Great cover, I'm not into 60s music but this however is a great song. A tip, German singer Doro (Pesch) has made a great ccover of this, you should see if you can find it. If I'm not wrong the album is ccalled "Force Manjure".

It's so nice that you are making music on a consistent basis. You must be in a good zone right now, and we're all grateful for it.

I don't think I've heard the original, but as always, your cover has a ton of merit on its own and I'm sure not only does justice to the original but also pays homage to it in an outstanding way. I would like to listen to it to see where you got your inspiration. Again, great work. Best wishes!

One of the cult pieces of music progressive years 60/70.
I would say grandiose remake, music of the highest level and excellent sound quality.
it is clear that tea is nothing new to be able to rearrange and then perform songs of this genre.
However the most important thing is the overall result that I consider exaggerated

Oh Trish,

in just the first few seconds, the goose bumps came! What a gorgeous reminiscence to this classic song!
Played so soulfully and with such a devotion. Thank you! I love it.

Hi Trish,
with this song you brought me back in time, when I was still a child, but I remember very well of this song, which accompanied my afternoons listening to the radio.
Your interpretation is very exciting, but you you always manage to thrill the listener to your tunes.

Hoi Trish

Again you have chosen a wonderful song. Of course, this should all be familiar song.

Therefore, it is more difficult to bring their own touch into it.

You did it with your piano playing again managed to convince me.

Great

Hey Trish,

Outstanding version of an absolute classic.  When some of the folk comment they don't know it, I suddenly feel very old - again.  Your performances and arrangement seem to grow in confidence, if that is possible.  They've always been superb.  Power onwards, young lady.

Cheers,
Nick

A lovely instrumental  rendition of a classic.

The production values are good too.  It retains the soulful feel of the original.

Well done.

that song was popular in my country , many singers of the Spanish language performed " A Whiter Shade of Pale " in Spanish what they titled " With its white pallor " ; his work is very good , great effort, great results , Greetings

Hi Trish,

When you chose to do covers of classic songs, you always pick my favorites! I bet we coud exchange our music collections and end up with the same stuff.

I have always loved this song and I adore your version. The "harpsichord" voicing was a nice touch. I am so glad that you included the pipe organ section which I always found to be exhilirating.

On my second listen as I write this and am reminiscing about getting up the nerve to ask a girl for a "slow" dance...those innocent times.

Will get around to sending you my email with a list of songs, this will definitely be there.

This one made my day!

Cheers,

Stu
