A Child's Dream

Hello friends

This is a rather simple song, like a child's dream that is without complications.  The song  does not use a lot of different chords or key changes.   It is basic chord progressions but the harmonies are what makes it pretty and I hope you will agree. It is in the style of New Age.

Thank you for listening

Trish

Sehr harmonisch, sehr schön melanchonisch, paßt zum Regenwetter vor der Tür. Hast Du sehr schön zusammengestellt, sehr entspannend. Mal wieder meisterlich! Danke für die Einladung!

Elegantly lovely with an old world charm.  You make writing a 'simple' song seem easy, whereas it's an exrecise with nowhere to hide.  Superbly written and performed.  But then that's typical Trish.

In my ignorance I would have related how I love the key changes, but you reveal how they result from the harmonies you've cleverly brought to the piece.  That's why you are the teacher (I was going to say master, then correct it to mistress, but thought that might be taken the wrong way and start tongues wagging), and I the lowly acolyte.  I reverse out of the room bowing.

Hello Trish,
song serene and delicate, like the world of fairy tales in a child's dream.
Great song.

Hi Trish,

Being a simple person myself, i can relate to this. Some songs try to be too clever which can detract from the overall atmosphere. Not here, this song comes across beautifully. Sometimes less really is more.

Well done.

Hi Trish:

What a terrific way to begin a Sunday morning!  Unfettered and uncluttered by the trappings of a staccato drum or belligerent bass.  I'm serious.  This delightful piece flows over and bathes the senses (at least mine) with its calming sensibilities.  Is that a harp I hear?  Absolutely delicious and pleasurable, Trish.

Thanks for this aural massage...

Hi Trish!

Your music is near the music from Basil. :-)) It gives the music from the film Lonesome Dove from him and yours is with the same great harmony and your wonderful playing! It is magic Trish? You put again, tears in my eyes and I give you standing orvations for this wonderful piece of music. The QUEEN OF KEYS shut me into heaven! Thank you for this and for your other great music in this year. 5 Stars and the FAV!!!

All the best ever and best wishes
