This song was previously posted by Hueno under the title "essential" (A song for Trish) and was written by him as a very thoughtful and very kind gesture.  I asked Heuno if I could contribute to the song and he said yes so I would like to repost this song with my additions and dedicate it to those who lost their lives on the tragic day that is known as 9-11-2001.

Thank you, Rino for your beautiful song

Trish

Hi Trish and Heuno,
this terrible did I stupid heads of deluded not understand to this day!
Musically, this is a worthy memorial to the many innocent victims on both sides!
but I'm afraid this kind of war continues!
I hope not though!

Very nice contribution from you!

best wishes for the day of remembrance

Hi Trish, a wonderful piano work have you played it. I know the original, and your interpretation of it has been great. Unfortunately, a very sad occasion. 9.11 is a term for an incredible tragedy worldwide. But life must go on now and what times is to express better than anything that moves us in the music. Great job and full marks for that !! 5 *

Greetings Ralf

Hi Trish & Rino:

A day that will always live in infamy for most people around the world.  There were a total of 2,996 deaths, including the 19 hijackers and 2,977 victims.  More than (90) countries lost citizens in the attacks on the World Trade Center.  So indeed, this act of blatant barbarism was truly International in scope.

I listened to Rino's original arrangement, and yes it is quite beautiful.  Your wonderful interpretation, adds an undeniably thoughtful layer, my dear friend.  The mood of this piece is a fitting tribute to that tragic event (with its sweeping arpeggios and dramatic chords).   A moving, musical accolade to all, but the chronically tone-deaf.

Griff

Exquisite.  Led by your tinkling keys of course, but beautifully strengthened by the more forceful backing.  A fitting tribute to a day of infamy.  Slightly perverse that something so heinous can end up producing something so beautiful.

ancora più coinvolgente, intenso ed emozionante...il tuo contributo è stato esponenziale, direi che ha valorizzato ancora di più un brano dell'amico Rino già bello e importante di per sè.

Coplimenti, molto bello.

I always will remember that day. I had been sleeping during the day because I was gonna work at night time. I woke up because the phone kept ringing. Relatives from the U.S. called and told us what happened. So we switched on TV and we could see...

13 years after and still in mourning!

Bella variante dell'originale che era già bello, e molto bello l'uso che ne hai voluto fare per ricordare la stupididà di certi uomini che non capiscono il confine del lecito e dell'illecito, 5* da tgfmusica, Gianfranco, ciao

I am very honored to have had the chance 'to collaborate with Trish.
A person from extraordinary quality 'human.
This track and 'a small gesture to remind one of the days more' ugly history of humanity '.
Thank you Trish for its sensitivity 'and for the great musical contribution that made the song a lot more' beautiful and passionate of the original.

Thank you Trish.

This was put together very quickly but fortunately Rino had already done 95% of the work so the credit goes to him.  I do not think the drums are too loud at all but they add impact and passion to the song.  So I am the one who is honored to have talked Rino into letting me add a little to his song so we could present it in a new light with perhaps a whole different level of emotions.

Hi Trish and of course Rino ... you have touched me with the song ... music is the language that can bring everything to life, carrying everything on emotions in themselves, protest, love But is hatred, joy and tears, the mother , the father of all ... your song is a part of it and even if you have paid it that terrible day Trish, he is for me for each of the terrible wars and suffering in the world ... all great song, played fabulously .. can not say more, the gods may have heard the song ... SELA best wishes Andi

Emozionante e commovente - ciao da sandro

Last changed by Sandro_Glavina_Channel on 9/12/2014, 8:38 PM, changed a total of 1 times.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Hi! Schon so lange her.
