Xara Designer Pro X 19

I have a problem regarding the program shown above. I was shown this program for a reduced rate of $89.99. I went through the entire process, name,address, password because I'm an existing user, but by the time I got to the end it changed from the Xara Designer Pro X 19 to the Xara Designer Pro X365, it even says that I need to renew the subscription after 1 year which the Xara Designer Pro X 19 never told me that I would need to renew my subscription after 1 year.

Is the Xara Designer Pro X 19 and the Xara Designer Pro X365 the same program or is it in fact a different program and for some reason, it's switching programs on me?

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums, so not a contact for any Magix staff and confidential data, like your email address, should never be posted here. Hence I have edited your post.

The two programs are identical, except that the 365 version is subject to a monthly or annual subscription. As long as you continue to renew that subscription, the program will always be "up to date" and you will always have access to any online features, like the online catalogue. If the user chooses at any time to end the subscription my understanding is that the program will cease to run.

The other "perpetual" version also allows full access to all updates and those same online features for up to one year from the date of purchase. At this 12-month point you should be offered the option to purchase the "updates" for a further year. If you do not do so the program will continue to run for as long as your OS supports it but you will NOT have access to any program updates nor to those online features. (The advice often given here is to ensure you download everything from the online catalogue within those initial 12 months to ensure that if you do not renew you will not suddenly lose access to it!)

One further point to consider: I understand the 365 version can be installed on a maximum of ONE computer; the perpetual version can be installed and activated on TWO computers at the same time.
