I presume that this is a continuation of your other thread. To keep everything together, you only need to answer to the same question, even if you are asking another question about the same topic.

The M-track is a mixer. You can see how I use it in this tutorial.

Your mic looks good and you don't need a mixer.

What are you intending to do in your home studio?

first that was a great video and I will order my m-audio m-track , sooner than later if you no what I'm saying. You did a awesome job, help me out a lot . I mostly going to use my home studio for gosple rap but also some jazz,R&b smooth rock . more of laid back stuff then head banging althought i'll have some head banging but over all it's gosple rap. Thanks

Hi,

Glad to know that you liked the tutorial. Remember, your mic has a USB connection, not XLR, and won't work with a mixer interface. You would also need to buy another mic unless you already have one with an XLR connection.

There are other mixer interfaces on the market, such as, Presonus and Focusrite. Take a good look around before buying to make sure that you get what you really want.

yes I got the XLR with the mic and looked at the scarlett 2i2 interface , but I might need a mixer with it . not sure so m-audio m-track seem good right now. A its the m-audio series C-400 C-600 for upgrade but one step t a time.

Hi I also purchase mms(studio) and I installed it on my old labtop that died on me, now im trying to activate it on my new Lenovo laptop and it giving me error-24. And it saying it under a different e-mail address but im using the same e-mail. I e-mail cutomer service they said they reset mms but im still getting the same error code, and it been over the 30 day I was told it takes to reset mms. what is the best way to reactvate mms on my new laptop ?
