rolf,

A couple of points:

It is a good idea, especially with more expensive bd blanks, to do your 'burn' to a folder and check the result. Choose 'Image recorder' as your burner -- the default location for disk image files is set under 'Program settings' [Y] key shortcut.

Menu templates don't appear on the timeline as they are not really part of your movie and can only be edited in the burning section of the program.

I assume your video previews as expected in edit mode? About the only thing I can think of for your missing content is to first zoom to show your entire movie (in the timeline) as this will set the selected range to the full length. If you are only exporting to a file there is an option to only export range though I don't think that affects a DVD burn.

Regards,

Carl

Hi Rolf,

When I hit problems like this I often find it helps to start afresh with an ultra simple project of a single JPG and step through it methodically.

You haven't said what your experience level is and whether you've successfully burned discs previously, so the following may all be obvious. But I'd suggest you work through it with your MEP version and report back in detail on where it goes wrong. Assuming you still fail to get an output (whether .ISO or DVD folder of .VOBs) then we can move to the next stage of examining your advanced encode settings and also using Burn > Edit  to check your detailed burn settngs.

Hi

To add to Carls recommendation:

For testing in a DVD or BD player I always test burn to DVD-RW or BD-RE rewriteable discs until I am happy with the finished project.  Then I write to DVD-R or BD-R discs.

This saves money as you can re-use the disss and also frustration caused when the project looks diferent on a PC then on a TV ie I find interlaced videeo looks worse on a PC screen then a TV.
