i really dont know what kind of mic to use i have the mic w/pc but i think a better mic would do

There are probably thousands of mics that you could get. Generally, a 'large diaphragm' microphone can give you good clarity. These days you can get a USB microphone that saves your the problem of purchasing a preamp, but quality is probably all over the map
