Yes straight from account. It’s downloaded music maker and that works fine but not Sony acid ??

Because you wrote that the transfer throw an error but also that you tried to make it accept your serial number, which would imply that the installation went through.

Are you getting a specific error code or message? We know that Acid sometimes has problems with Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributables. If these are already installed on your computer then Acid sometimes tries to install them as well and fails. But I don't know if this is a problem for Acid 7. However, it is a problem for Acid 10 and 11.

I’ve never had these issues with Sony acid before. Music maker works , Sony acid downloaded but when opening the app it keeps saying restart the app , which then reverts back to putting serial key back in ?

this keeps coming up when downloading

@NTC-LAIDLER Ok, the failed download might be a server problem on Magix' side. For this I recommend you to contact customer support at infoservice@magix.net and ask them for a direct download link.

But Acid is still installed, correct? You can hold down CTRL and SHIFT while you start the app. Keep holding both keys until a small window appears that will ask you to reset the program settings. Maybe a corrupted setting is crashing the app. This will repair it.

Additionally, please look under C:\Users\YourWindowsUsername\Documents\Magix Downloads\Installationsmanager\ whether you can find a backup of your Acid installer from an earlier installation. Then you don't need to redownload again.

@NTC-LAIDLER Ok, I'm not familiar with the unlock process of Acid 7. It looks like the old Sony license system, which is no longer online. I would expect the typical Magix Activation dialog. I recommend you contact customer support. Or maybe some other user here can chime in.
