Just remembered, I paid for the software at the same time. If this problem isn't fixed I will have to stop payment on that too. I have had to do that before on an older version. Never did hear what went wrong then.
@Michael-Reed7223 Ok, please enter the serial number again in the future and tell us the error code. Otherwise we cannot help you. This problem will likely not solve itself on its own. Until then, have fun with the trial version.
Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 is the version I purchased. How do I reinstall it so I can see if the error codes still show up? The trial version seems to work fine.
Trial version is installed and running fine and not expired. (So far, I like this version much better than the old one). What I want is a CD to install the software so I can use it without worrying about an expiration date or getting another e-mail with a code that doesn't work. Or cancellation of the order and a refund of my money so that I don't have to keep experimenting.
@Michael-Reed7223, use the same email address for SF that was used for the Magix purchase or registration if that was done already. You should not need to uninstall. The only difference between the trial and the paid version is the activation code. You can email Magix ( sales@magix.net ) if all else fails.
If I understand correctly, when the trial version expires, I will somehow receive the new serial number to activate it as a complete purchase. The charge for the new version cleared my bank account this morning. I would like to receive a CD within 2 to 3 business days so that I don't have to keep this communication going and/or turn this over to the bank and the Better Business Bureau.

You misunderstood the comments above - you will receive a serial number for the program by email when you complete purchase of the software - if you have completed purchase and have not received the email confirming purchase - the serial number will be in that email, check your email spam folder.

Did you order one at the time of purchase - 2 options were offered on the purchase page as shown below ?
If not then try emailing Magix at sales@magix.net asking if you can order one and pay the appropriate fee.
Please remove the image you've included in your latest post or at least obscure the order number. This is confidential information and should never be posted to a public ofumr like this one.
I can delete the image from your post but would prefer to give you opportunity to remove it!
ALL the participants in this forum are fellow-users; there are no Magix staff here, so your email is not from us!
Re-reading this thread I am rather confused as to what is the problem! I think the following is true. Is this correct?:
You have installed the trial version of Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 and it is working.
You have purchased the full version of SFAS 17.
You have received the email confirming your purchase. The email includes a serial key.
When you enter the serial key, along with your email address which MUST be the same one you used to purchase the software, you receive an error message.
We really do need to see either a screenshot of the error message or the full text of it.
Apparently, you also want a CD copy of the installer. The post from @johnebaker shows you how this can be ordered at the time of purchase; if you did not order it then please follow John's advice and email infoservice@magix.net, with full details of your order number etc. and ask if you can be sent the disc, which you will have to pay for, obviously.
I received an email yesterday afternoon after i contacted the sales group with a serial number, that's all ???. I entered it and the software is now working.
