Windows 10 - Movie Maker 16 consistent crash/stall

Dean-Crist wrote on 6/27/2023, 3:37 PM

Running Movie Maker 16 (build 175) on my laptop and desktop, both running Windows 10. It runs like a champ on the laptop, but consistently crashes/stalls out on the desktop when watching the preview or rendering anything but .mov, which seems stable so long as the video less than 5 minutes long.

Using onboard video, no extra card.

Any thoughts?

@Dean-Crist

MovieMaker is a Windows product, Magix makes Movie Studio, formerly called Movie Edit Pro.

Please tell us exactly which product you have.

If you have Movie Studio version 16 please read https://www.magix.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-post-and-movie-studio-users-please-read-here-first--1229563/ and follow the advice given there.
