This may be related to you using old versions of SF and Acid, and Microsoft changing how applications provide help some time ago. At least according to this old forum posting - http://forum-archive.magix.info/showmessage.asp?messageid=862393
I'm not sure what the fix is for windows 10, i would have suggested compatibility mode, but that was confirmed as not working for windows 8 users in the above post. :-/
Thanks. I have reinstalled the software in Windows 10. I just don't get it. Man, I HATE to move away from Acid and SoundForge. I LOVE these products but I can't get them to work right. I think I'll be spending some sad time checking out Audacity, Reaper, and Traction. :(
